Good news is that subscription living solves this problem and helps you easily find digital nomad accommodation! Designed for digital nomads, remote workers, and anyone seeking a more flexible and straightforward way to live, it helps you avoid repetitive bookings, excessive fees and the stress around finding the right digital nomad accommodation.

With this new concept, you can switch destinations, while paying the same rent. Flataway’s mission is simple: to make the location-independent lifestyle effortless. There are no hidden service fees, no multiple contacts to juggle—just smart budgeting. Subscription living is available in more than 80 destinations across Europe, Mexico and Latin America.

So what exactly is Subscription living? 

There are two ways to explore Subscription living: through Bundles and Plans.

Bundles 

Ideal for mid-term stays and if you don’t like to spend time planning a trip

Bundles comprise a list of locations, duration of stay at each location, as well as the sequence of the visit : exactly like an itinerary. You can stay anywhere from two to eight weeks in each location, with the minimum bundle duration being four weeks.

Bundles are curated by both the Flataway team and by Creators – industry professionals, travel enthusiasts, digital nomads and remote workers. Choosing a creator-crafted bundle allows you to access their city guides for the bundle, packed with personal recommendations for activities in their favourite cities. 

If you prefer to craft your own journey, you can create a custom bundle. You just need to set your start date, accommodation type, destinations, and duration of stay. For a more comfortable experience there is the ‘gaps’ feature to pause your bundle, allowing for up to a 4-week break, free of charge, between destinations.

How does the booking process work?

1. Select/build a bundle 

• Specify your preferred starting date and accommodation type

2. Receive a personalised offer with available properties 

• Flataway sends you specific apartments for  each city of your bundle. You don’t have to spend any time searching for properties : Flataway does that instead.

3. Accept by making the 1st payment 

• If you’re happy with the selection, accept it by making the 1st payment (made via Stripe) and your bundle is booked .
